In case of fire use a stairway for exit. Do not use an elevator. |

In case of entrapment use the emergency phone in the car to call for help. Do not attempt to exit the elevator: injury or death could result. Trained personnel quickly respond to all entrapment calls.

To Report an Elevator Problem
|
|
During regular work hours (7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday) call the Facilities Management Service Center at 575-5050. Otherwise report elevator problems to the University of Arkansas Police Department at 575-2222. Certain details would be helpful.

Each campus elevator, wheelchair lift, and dumbwaiter operates under a certificate granted by the Elevator Safety Division of the Arkansas Department of Labor. Every unit is identified by a state-assigned "AS-number" conspicuously posted in the elevator car or other conveyance.
